The woke mob is coming for our wieners.

Months after the Green M&M briefly disappeared having proved too damn sexy for the masses – or, well at least Tucker Carlson – yet another food mascot has found itself on the provocative chopping block: The Oscar Mayer Weinermobile.

After 86 years on the road, the cold cut giant announced that they would be changing the name of their iconic hot-dog-shaped car from the "Wienermobile" to the “Frankmobile,” wiping all trace of wieners in an attempt to market their new recipe (how many ways can one make a hot dog?) to the masses.

“The newly coined ‘Frankmobile’ pays homage to the brand’s 100% Beef Franks as it debuts a tasty new recipe with a more balanced flavor profile and iconic beefy taste that is more flavorful than ever — all while sparking miles of smiles and uniting fans around a love of meat,” read a press release from the company, per Today.

Alongside this change, the Hotdoggers responsible for driving the trucks will now be renamed to the Frankfurters (*Tim Curry has entered the chat*).

Yet it seems the public has not taken too kindly to these changes, hitting Twitter to air their grievances, grilling the company for answers.

“IS NOTHING SACRED,” mused Twitter user @jessieopie in a Quote Tweet linking to the story.

“I guess they thought "Weinermobile" was too silly of a name for their GIANT HOT DOG SHAPED CAR,” quipped @PandasAndVidya.

“The Wienermobile is woke now,” added @BebopOt.

Hey, what can we say – there are truly no wieners in this situation.
